Lördag 24/11 bjuder sex av medlemmarna ur elektronika-kollektivet The X-Dump på en kavalkad av glitchiga beats, funkiga breaks och squeekiga bleeps. Medlemmarna har bland mycket annat remixat Kraftwerk, Beck och Slagsmålsklubben, och varit representerade på Europas största festival för micromusik, Data Airlines i Marseille, Frankrike. De har snart spelat i 15 olika länder och på tre kontinenter. Och nu ska de alltså slå sina påsar ihop och bjuda på en helkväll på Microdisko.

The X-Dump Electronica Collective is back with a banana. Might we unfavorably have proposed a banana? Of course we meant a distinct sort of luscious granadilla, for example. Although, some people might propone types of mephitic vertebrates. Preeminently the kettles of fish The X-Dump currently has on exhibition for our exquisite grandstand! Feel casual to gambol - there are plenteous fins and scales for every spectral relish of choise! NinjaDiskoNeat!!!

The X-Dump's digital netlabel returns with an unrestrainedly
fanciful new collection of minialbums after a few months vacation!

First out is the exasperatingly difficult yet fully delightful 7 track drama
based around terrestrial mollusks of the class Gastropoda, entitled
"Happy Pet Snail", adapted by our highly skilled 6.5 feet
snail-tentacle-ninja-apprentice Lithis from out of town!!!

Lithis explains carefully:

"Happy families have been developed by the modularization of scientists
committed to making music for snails. Thus next-generation clubs can
profit from being digital (vintage) or the other one!"

In any commonly encountered natural manner we all ofcourse agree!

To aid him on his ninja quest Lithis has brought along the fellow X-Dumpians
Dorothy's Magic Bag and Psilodump to perform some fancy remix-tricks!!!

This mission cannot feasibly fail!

Straight from the mind of Swedish hellraiser Psilodump, who's released on super-smart labels such as 8bitpeoples and Micromusic, as well as being part of the rather smart X-Dump collective, 'Jag Och Psilodump' is a spectacularly eclectic 6-track EP which bounces all over the map, showcasing Psilodump's distinctly weird, distinctly different stylings.

Things start with 'Winds (Snabber Mix)', which is all hyper-fast drums and oddly burlesque melodies, before 'Omtanke7' cuts in, again with oddly indescribable, almost demo-scene styled melodies, before the almost junglist 'Jag Hatar Psilodump' hangs around, all vicious. It only gets better from there on out, ending in a military deconstruction of 'Winds' by fellow X-Dump colleague and former Monotonik releaser Dorothy's Magic Bag. Mommy, we're scared...

Two of their most dangerous members, Paza and Psilodump, have already displayed their ancient and majestic chip-skills in a pair of chart-topping releases for us. But this is it! psilodump, the great dictator of The X-Dump electronica collective, is back with yet another high-quality online minialbum! While his last effort, the 9 track "Washed" minialbum (on the short-lived Eclectro Records), was mostly based on melodies, this one, the 7 track "You Sick Little Monkey" minialbum, is based on crazy beats, cuts and weird fx.

Besides the 4 original psilodump tracks, there are also some fantastic remixes by Pippilina, Dorothy's Magic Bag and lithis!!!

We all know that it is something, but so many are the people who have asked and had theories about what’s hiding inside the magic bag. Now Candy Mind is demanding some answers.

Starting our journey with happy but impulsive “Häxor”, going further down the bag with the contemplative and meditative hip-hop-track “Dreamlands”, giving us the spectacular blip’n’bass-story “Idiosynkrasi”, making us laugh with silly “Monster” and ending with sorrowful and distressed “Our world”, Dorothy’s Magic Bag may be giving us a clue of what’s inside.

As an olive on the top, this release features two brilliant remixes; one by psilodump and another one by Liquid Stranger; both showing us a different angle of view on what may be hidden deep down in the magic bag…

Dreamlands (psilodump Remix)
psilodump, too, is visiting the dreamlands, and since the lands of dreams always are changing and shifting, you’ll never see the same dreamland twice. In this dream chapter we’re out dancing in a club up in the clouds. But something has gone terribly wrong! Ohh! We’ve forgotten our pink necklaces!
