The Blip Festival, now one of the worlds largest and longest running events of its kind, continues to evolve with a greater breadth of international artists, a growing sophistication of styles and creative vocabulary, and a forward-thinking enthusiasm driven home by over two dozen of the worlds best musicians and visualists.

If there's one thing festival-goers can expect, it's to have their expectations blown away. And the high-energy, low-res live experience is also supplemented by daytime workshops, film screenings, and open mic events -- all in an open, friendly, all-ages atmosphere, accessible to the hardcore fan and the chipmusic neophyte alike.

"On 02/24/2007 a 12” single (and digital download equivalent) preceded the CD launch of "8-Bit Operators - The Music Of Kraftwerk" on Astralwerks/EMI Records. It featured Glomag’s 8-Bit Operators mega-mix version of “Pocket Calculator” (featuring 0x7f, Bit Shifter, Bubblyfish, firestARTer, Hey Kid Nice Robot, Ladybug, M-.-n, Nullsleep, Psilodump, Random, Sidabitball, and David E Sugar)"

I participated in this 8-Bit Operators: The Music of Kraftwerk tribute project, released by Astralwerks/EMI Records. My rendition of “Pocket Calculator” was featured in the “Pocket Calculator (Megamix)” by Glomag, which included contributions from artists such as 0x7f, Bit Shifter, Bubblyfish, firestARTer, Hey Kid Nice Robot, Ladybug, M-.-n, Nullsleep, Random, Sidabitball, and David E Sugar. This project received approval from Kraftwerk’s Ralf Hütter, who selected the final track lineup.
